Punisher at Pickall (Schools Out Open House) – May 7, 14, 21, 28

This is a four-week Thursday evening short-track MTB race series at Patapsco Valley State Park. Each date provides open rides on the Schools Out Loop from 2–5 PM and grassroots bike racing from 5–7:30 PM. The series benefits the Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park.

Conquer the Canal TT – May 9

• Location: 1246 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Chesapeake, VA 23322. It's a 12-mile out-and-back individual time trial along the Dismal Swamp Canal — the oldest continuously operating man-made canal in the United States.

Rails to River MTB – May 17

• Location: Lake Fairfax Park, 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston, VA 20190. The race is an XC format with riders doing 1, 2, or 3 laps of an approximately 7.5-mile course, with Base starting at 9 AM, Sport at 11 AM, and Expert at 2 PM.
